Meet Our Team
Diana Wamsteeker MSW RSW
Clinic Director + Therapist
Hi, I’m Diana Wamsteeker.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, or disconnected from yourself or your partner, therapy can offer support, clarity, and a way forward. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, relationship concerns, and major life transitions.
My style is warm, genuine, and compassionate. I aim to create a space where you feel heard and understood, while also offering gentle, practical guidance. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck and build tools that help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected.
I support individuals with concerns such as anxiety, low mood, stress management, burnout, and relationship challenges. With couples, I help partners slow down conflict, deepen communication, rebuild trust, and feel safer and more connected with one another.
I bring over 20 years of experience working with individuals and couples across a range of practice settings. I’m licensed in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Nunavut and Yukon, and I engage in ongoing training to ensure my work remains current, thoughtful, and responsive to client needs. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, attachment-based, and evidence-based practices, integrating cognitive and mindfulness strategies when helpful.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step. Our first sessions are a chance to clarify your goals, understand what’s been weighing on you, and begin developing supportive, realistic strategies for change.
I would be honoured to support you as you navigate this next chapter and hope to connect with you soon.
